Parish Council Meetings
The Parish Council meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm (except August) and meetings are held in the small meeting room to the rear of Stanton under Bardon Village Hall. All meetings are open to the public and members of the public are warmly welcomed to attend and to raise any issue that are important to them during the public participation session.
The agenda is published three clear working days prior to the meeting and all decisions are recorded in minutes. Supporting documents can be accessed by clicking the links on the agenda shown online.
Please note that no business can be formally agreed (resolved) if it does not appear on the agenda.
Public Participation
To help inform and enrich the debate, the Council offers an open session at the start of the meeting for members of the public to comment or raise questions about any item important to them. However, members of the public cannot form part of the debate during the meeting unless a point of clarification is required by the Chair. However all are very welcome to attend Council meetings and listen to the debate for any part (or all) of the meeting.
If members of the public wish to raise a particular issue that they want the Council to debate, then this should be brought to the attention of the Parish Clerk at least 5 days prior to a Parish Council meeting. Please contact the Clerk or your local Parish Councillor for further details.
