Speaking at Parish Council Meetings
To help inform and enrich the debate, the Council offers an open session at the start of the meeting for members of the public to comment or raise questions about any item important to them.
However, members of the public cannot form part of the debate during the meeting unless a point of clarification is required. This will only be initiated through the Chair. However they are very welcome to attend Council meetings and listen to the debate for any part (or all) of the meeting.
If members of the public wish to raise a particular issue that they want the Council to debate, then it should be brought to the attention of the Clerk at least 2 weeks prior to a Parish Council meeting. Please contact the Clerk or your local Parish Councillor for further details.
